A bomb threat was reported on Kelton Avenue Wednesday afternoon, prompting residents to leave their buildings.
The Los Angeles Police Department received a call around noon reporting a suspicious package, said the department’s spokesperson.
The spokesperson added that a stretch of Kelton Avenue, starting from its intersection at Gayley Avenue, will be closed until the LAPD determines the package is not a threat.
