Spring Sing Preview

The Inner Sanctum, a 40-person dance group primarily comprised of world arts and cultures/dance students, will perform a dance number based on a fairy tale story at Spring Sing on Saturday.

Third-year art history student Lashon Halley, who draws much of her musical inspiration from personal life experiences, will be performing her original song,”Done with You,” at Spring Sing Saturday.

First-year ethnomusicology student Priscillia Omon (left) and fourth-year ethnomusicology student Alan McDonnell (right) will perform McDonnell’s original song, “Who Cares,” at Spring Sing on Saturday.

Students from the sorority Delta Gamma and the fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha will perform a number featuring Top 40 songs with modified lyrics at Spring Sing. This will mark Delta Gamma's ninth consecutive year in the competition.

Company is a group of 12 students who will perform comedy sketches in the style of "Saturday Night Live" in between the talent performances at Spring Sing. The group will present a mix of live skits and pre-made videos, incorporating a variety of theatrical talents.

Fourth-year cognitive science student Nick Valentini, who will be performing alongside his band Loop Garou, will also take the stage Saturday as a solo artist, with his original song “Mr. Mister.”

A cappella group Random Voices will perform a rendition of the song “Lady Marmalade,” drawing influence from Patti Labelle’s original version and the “Moulin Rouge!” 2001 version.

The Association of Chinese Americans' dance exhibition will open the second half of Spring Sing on Saturday. Showcasing a wide range of hip-hop styles, the group will open its set with a dance choreographed to Flume's remix of Lorde's "Tennis Courts."
