UCLA men’s golf places eighth at Pac-12 championships

UCLA men’s golf placed eighth at the Pac-12 championships, which were held from Monday until Wednesday.
Junior Jonathan Garrick led the Bruin effort, posting scores of 70 and below on all but one round. Garrick finished the competition tied for third overall.
Redshirt senior Manav Shah was the second UCLA player to finish behind Garrick, tied for 23rd place. Shah posted scores of 72, 72, 70 and 72 over the four rounds.
The Bruins entered the championship ranked No. 13 and were slated at ninth after three rounds, improving to eighth place on Wednesday.
UCLA finished behind Stanford, Oregon, Arizona, USC, Washington, Oregon State and Cal.
