UCLA Test Bank reopens following closure due to printer problems

The UCLA Test Bank reopened Thursday after it was shut down the past two weeks because of printer problems.

The center’s old printers are fixed, and it also ordered two new printers. The printers will arrive by next Friday, as the ordering process took several weeks, said Antonio Sandoval, director of the UCLA Community Programs Office, which runs the Test Bank.

“It was very inconvenient that the printers broke down during midterm period; however I hope that the problem was fixed in time to help students out,” Sandoval said.

Finola Feng, a third-year global studies student, said she found it inconvenient that the Test Bank was closed during the start of midterms.

“I came twice last week and it was closed,” she said. “I have a midterm on Tuesday, and I really hope that the Test Bank opens before that.”

Linde Wang, a first-year psychology and communication studies student, said she woke up early Wednesday morning to go to the Test Bank to avoid lines.

“I was very disappointed that the Test Bank was closed; I had really hoped to be ahead of the curve by being early,” she said.
