
Nyala Carbado, a first-year history student who identifies as genderqueer, said increasing access to gender-neutral bathrooms is the most important step UCLA can take to become more welcoming for transgender students.

Fourth-year bioengineering student Sophia Hu started selling handmade crochet tops made by her mother, Ying Liu, this year on the UCLA Facebook group “Free and For Sale.” Each top costs about $20-25, and she has sold about 10-12 so far.
