Students share prose, poetry at Writer’s Den Open Mic Night

For all those who want to share their poetry or prose, The Writer’s Den Open Mic Night  on April 9th was a great opportunity. Whether or not part of The Writer’s Den, this was a chance for all Bruins to show their talents on the mic. However, some professionals also took the stand – the winners of The Writer’s Den poetry and fiction contest. All participants received illustrations of their pieces and the first place winners will be published in the next issue of Westwind. Listen to participants share the stories behind their pieces.
