Sophomore forward Wanaah Bail is no longer enrolled at UCLA and is transferring to another university, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.
The 6-foot-9-inch forward, who initially signed with Texas Tech University before officially enrolling at UCLA, was ruled academically ineligible on Dec. 27 after averaging 1.5 points and 2.6 rebounds over the course of 11 games.
The departure of freshman forward Kevon Looney for the NBA draft makes Bail the second forward to leave UCLA after the 2014-2015 season. But freshman guard/forward Jonah Bolden, who was ruled ineligible last season, is expected to make his return.
Bail did not announce which school he intends to transfer to next season.
