Alex Hyun and Dariane Nabor host spring quarter’s first episode of Long Story Short. First, Dr. Jody Heymann, founding director of WORLD Policy Analysis Center, discusses their new report called “Closing the Gender Gap.” Next, first-year biochemistry student Grant Schulte, fourth-year molecular, cell and developmental biology student Joey Orpilla, third-year mechanical engineering student Clara Takahashi, computer science and engineering alum Jackie Jin and fourth-year music history student Devin Gunay from Game Music Ensemble at UCLA share about their upcoming Nintendo concert. Lastly, UCLA students share their own wacky stories of past April Fools’ Day experiences.
