University police are searching for two men wanted for stealing a laptop and wallet from two Westwood apartments last week.

According to a UCPD statement, a student told police that a laptop was stolen from his apartment at 512 Glenrock Ave. about 4 a.m. on March 13. Another student reported that about an hour later, a brown leather wallet with credit cards and $70 in cash was stolen from his unlocked apartment at 519 Landfair Ave.

Police later released surveillance footage of two suspects. They described both men as Asian and about 20 years old with light complexions.

The first man was wearing a baseball cap, a white long-sleeved shirt with black Chinese characters on the front and back, black jeans and gray shoes. The second man wore a black baseball cap with cursive words, a white T-shirt and light blue jeans.

No further information was available. The case is still under investigation. Anyone with information regarding these incidents or similar incidents can call UCPD at (310) 825-1491.
