Long Story Short – March 9, 2015

Sharon Lin and Alex Hyun host winter quarter’s final episode of Long Story Short. First, we talk to third-year Russian studies and Spanish student Gulya Tlegenova and Slavic Languages and Literature graduate student Michael Lavery about the Slavic 2015 Poetry and Music Night. Next, Ben Haist, a graduate student in film, talks about his award-winning animation in last year’s Shorttakes Student Film Festival and the inspiration behind the short film. Lastly, alumna Valentina Vee and fourth-year ecology and evolutionary biology student Kyle Rubalcava join us to talk about their experience in photography.
