
Ben Follansbee, a master's of business administration student at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, releases one of the "glitter bombs" that his startup company, SparkleSlap.com, sends to unsuspecting recipients. Follansbee came up with his business venture three weeks ago.

Sami Hill has emerged as one of the dominant goalkeepers in women's water polo over the past five years. During the one year Hill redshirted in 2012, she trained with the USA Women's National Team. Now in her redshirt senior season, Hill has already broken UCLA's career saves record and looks to begin an Olympic career afterward.

Redshirt sophomore gymnast Christine Peng-Peng Lee is starting her gymnastics career on a clean slate after overcoming years of adversity. Lee suffered tears in her anterior cruciate and medical collateral ligaments while training for the trials for the 2012 Summer Olympics.
