University police have reported a series of burglaries in Westwood student apartments since Tuesday, Oct. 28.

Two burglaries were reported on Strathmore Drive, one was reported at 459 Gayley Ave. and another was reported at 714 Levering Ave., according to a UCPD statement.

In each case, an unknown person entered through an unlocked door and removed property from the students’ residence, police said.

Police recommend students close and lock sliding doors with a track bar at all times.

No further information was immediately available. The cases are still under investigation.

Anyone with information about this incident or other incidents can call UCPD at (310) 825-9371.
