Phone, iPad stolen from student’s room in Theta Chi fraternity house

An iPad and iPhone were stolen from a UCLA student’s room in the Theta Chi fraternity house on Gayley Avenue early Sunday morning, police said.

University police said an unknown suspect entered the room and took the devices between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m., while the student was asleep. The student’s door was unlocked.

No further information was available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends that students be aware of their surroundings and lock their windows and doors.
