Pauley Pavilion’s court will be fully refurbished by October’s end, said UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero in a statement Friday afternoon. The announcement confirms that the UCLA men’s basketball and women’s basketball teams will each play its entire regular season in Pauley Pavilion.

A “new state-of-the-art court” will replace the damaged Nell and John Wooden Court, which became warped as a result of Tuesday’s flooding, Guerrero said in the statement.

The Wooden Center’s Collins Court, which also experienced flooding Tuesday, will receive a new floor and should be ready by early November, Guerrero said.

Guerrero added that UCLA Athletics will evaluate all of its options for where UCLA women’s volleyball will play its home matches this season, as the team had initially been scheduled to play on Collins Court. The women’s volleyball team’s first scheduled game, an alumni match, was originally slated for Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. in the Wooden Center.

Guerrero also addressed the condition and repairs of other campus facilities affected by the flooding. Notably, the Drake Stadium track is “fully functional and has been restored to its original condition,” Guerrero said, and the J.D. Morgan Center’s Athletics Hall of Fame will require minor repairs and new carpet.
