“Music has always been that one constant in my life where I can just escape from my academics and escape from any other problems I am having,” said Kanwal Sumnani, president of the Choral Excellence Association at UCLA. While waiting for the review of a petition to keep the choral program at UCLA, five students of the UCLA choral ensembles talk about their favorite memories and the lasting impacts made in the group. From engineering students to science students, the members of the program take pride in being a welcoming group focused on sharing their musical talents both on campus and in schools around the area with the UCLA Choral Outreach Program.
