Members of the undergraduate student government are looking for donations for UCLA’s newly created Lab Coat Loaner Library over the next few school days.

The library, which will open next year, aims to provide blue flame-resistant lab coats and safety goggles to students free of charge for a quarter.

The Undergraduate Students Association Council General Representative 2 office is hosting the lab coat drive on Thursday, Friday and Monday to collect materials for the project. Donations can be dropped off in Kerckhoff 417 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on those days.

Students who donate previously owned blue lab coats or safety goggles to the library will be entered in a contest to win a $10 Associated Students UCLA gift card.
