UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero was one of four Football Subdivision recipients of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics Under Armour Athletic Director of the Year Award for 2013-2014, UCLA Athletics announced Wednesday.

Other winners include Utah State’s Scott Barnes, Fresno State’s Thomas Boeh and Virginia Tech’s Jim Weaver.

Guerrero hired two new coaches who had success in their first seasons at UCLA this year. Women’s soccer coach Amanda Cromwell won an NCAA title in December and men’s basketball coach Steve Alford led the Bruins to a Pac-12 tournament title and a Sweet Sixteen appearance.

Guerrero has won the award twice before – once with UCLA in 2006-2007 and once with UC Irvine in 2001-2002. No other Division I athletic director has won three times.
