Students will be able to listen to Mariachi music and groove with an Armenian dance group at the first Cultural Performance Night on the Hill Wednesday evening.

The event will be put on by the Global Connections Council, a club made up of international students that organizes cultural events and projects for all residents to participate in.

Event organizer Sirada Rochanavibhata, a second-year psychology student from Thailand, said she and her fellow council members began planning the culture night last quarter.

The Samahang Pilipino dance group will perform, along with other music and dance groups representing different nationalities, Rochanavibhata said.

Audience members will be able to come and go as they please. The event is free for students and will take place outside in De Neve quad on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
