UCLA Athletics released the first concept images of its future Football Performance Center Wednesday morning.

The multi-level building is set to feature football-specific training rooms and a strength and conditioning center, coaches’ offices, team meeting rooms, video rooms, and a state-of-the-art locker room and players’ lounge.

“For us to get to the next step as a program, what I think we need to do is put one of the most remarkable facilities on this beautiful campus,” coach Jim Mora said in a video on the facility’s website.

UCLA has already raised about $40 million toward building the complex in just over six months. When the project was first announced in September, the estimated cost was $50 million.

The facility is planned to be built on the west side of Spaulding Field, where the football team practices.

The renderings were done by ZGF Architects LLP, who UCLA hired to design the facility. ZGF has prior experience in football facilities, having designed Oregon’s Hatfield-Dowlin Complex.
