An undergraduate student government group meant to combat sexual harassment on campus is looking for student input for an online map that tracks the locations of sexual assaults at UCLA.

Survivors of sexual assault and harassment can anonymously add their stories to the Google form, along with the time and location of the assault, with as much or as little detail as they prefer, said Savannah Badalich, the Undergraduate Students Association Council student wellness commissioner and campaign manager of 7,000 in Solidarity.

The map will show the crime statistics from federal, UCPD and Daily Bruin sources, said Badalich, who created 7,000 in Solidarity as a sexual assault prevention research and advocacy group at the beginning of the academic year.

The map categorizes different reports sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, “peeping toms,” domestic violence, intimate partner violence and gender-based violence.

Submissions to the map will be public and displayed on a larger map during 7,000 in Solidarity’s Consent Walk on April 30.
