“Fowler Out Loud” hosts traditional Middle Eastern musical performances

On Thursday night, Farzad Amoozegar-Fassie, an ethnomusicology graduate student and Persian musician, and Takht Dirty, a student Arabic music performance group, put up a traditional Middle Eastern musical performance as part of Fowler Museum’s “Fowler Out Loud” concert series. Listen to the performers explain what motivates their music as well as some live clips from the show.
