By Rebeca Rankin

Longtime friends Amanda Cromwell and Cori Close never thought they would end up coaching at the same university. Cromwell and Close first met 17 years ago at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes camp at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Close joined UCLA as the Women’s Head Basketball Coach in 2011, while Cromwell was hired as the Women’s Head Soccer Coach in April 2013. Now reunited, these two coaches give us a closer look into their friendship as well as their experiences coaching at the same university.
