University police are searching for a man who looked into the windows of a Westwood apartment complex, according to a UCPD statement.

A woman told police she saw the man looking into the apartment windows at 10953 Roebling Ave. on Jan. 25 about 10 p.m. The same man was seen walking around the apartment complex and “peering” into windows on Sunday at 2:30 a.m. and on Thursday at 11:40 p.m., according to the statement.

The man is described as about 30 years old, black and between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt.

No further information was available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends that students and other members of the community keep all valuables out of plain sight and lock all doors and windows.

Anyone with additional information regarding this incident or similar incidents can call UCPD at (310) 825-9371.
