American Idol comes to UCLA

“A great thing about UCLA is that it is entertainment oriented,” states American Idol season five contestant Ace Young. Royce Hall hosted the American Idol season 13 premier screening and Q&A segment with the judges on Tuesday. Former contestants, audition hopefuls and UCLA American Idol fans lined up for hours in the hot sun to see Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Seacrest and other American Idol celebrities. Students and American Idol alumni share their unique experiences, discuss how UCLA is a great home for the screening and give advice to future contestants.
