Kick off second week with another segment of Long Story Short hosted by Meral Arik and new host, Jonaki Mehta. With Dance Marathon around the corner, hear how various students are tapping into their resources to raise money to participate, including fourth-year English student Carly Yoshida, who found a way to use her baking skills to her advantage. Next, third-year sociology student Veronica Shum shares her fall quarter experiences studying abroad in Hong Kong and many other surrounding countries. Then, our hosts end with a discussion of famous writers’ daily routines and compare them with how UCLA students set up their schedule at the beginning of the quarter.
