Long Story Short freezes the night with their first show hosted by Meral Arik and Sidhaant Shah. First, Daily Bruin Opinion columnist Maia Ferdman discusses the American Studies Association’s recent decision to boycott Israeli academia. Afterwards, hear how fourth-year communication student Neelam Michalow spent her winter break recording her album, followed by radio contributor, Emma Oeland, who asks students on Bruin Walk to share their silly and serious plans for 2014. Then, second-year ethnomusicology student May Claire La Plante, second-year organ performance student Jill Cassaboom, fourth-year English student Erin Sterling, and alumnus Jose Ruiz close off with their remix of “Vuelie” from Disney’s animated film, “Frozen”.
