“Truth is, I can remember things that I sold 30 to 40 years ago better than I can remember people I met 30 to 40 years ago,” remarks Izzy Chait, owner and operator of I.M. Chait Gallery, an auction house specializing in Chinese art. Chait works with his three sons, traveling to Asia to buy pieces and sell them in the states for profit. Their popular auction house sells to art collectors all around the world.
