“I’ve been blessed with a platform and in that platform I’ve been able to spread awareness,” said redshirt sophomore UCLA quarterback, Brett Hundley, during the Walk to End Epilepsy at the Rose Bowl on November 17, 2013. Hundley said he is happy more people in the UCLA community are learning about the disease, and that his relationship with his sister Paris Hundley, who suffers from the disease, inspired his efforts. The Hundley siblings open up about their strong connection, and a father from “Team UCLA” talks about how the cause makes his son, who has epilepsy, feel like part of a supportive community.
