To nap, or not to nap? With the potential installation of sleep pods on campus, it’s a relevant question for UCLA students to ask. Did you know that naps lasting longer than an hour actually do more harm than good for our sleep schedule? Dr. Baron from the Ashe Center talks about the intended purpose of the sleep pods, the proper measures for effective sleep hygiene, taking “nap tests” to determine our individual napping needs and how caffeine and alcohol can affect your sleep cycle.
