Several websites students use to schedule their classes and regulate their finances will be streamlined and combined in the coming weeks.

MyUCLA, URSA, schedule of classes and the financial aid office services will all combine into one website to be more convenient for students, said Betty Glick, the associate vice provost for undergraduate education. All services will originate from students’ MyUCLA account, which will be updated and redesigned.

Student Affairs, Information Technology Services and the Division of Undergraduate Education began working on the updates in 2011 after they received feedback from students saying that it was difficult to navigate multiple websites that all looked very different, Glick said.

No information that is stored on the site will be deleted and the login process will remain the same, Glick said. No additional costs or resources were used during the updating process, she added.

Although the MyUCLA website is continuously undergoing minor updates, the upcoming change will mark the second major redesign of the site since 1997, Glick said.
