Man steals cash, watch from Delta Terrace dorm room

An unknown man stole cash and a watch from a Delta Terrace dorm room Sunday afternoon, according to a university police report.

[UPDATED at 5:25 p.m. The man entered the dorm room at about 2:45 p.m. through an unlocked window and screen, while the resident was in the restroom adjacent to the bedroom, said Nancy Greenstein, spokeswoman for university police.]

The man was described as 20 years old and white, and was wearing a red baseball cap, according to the report.
