Long Story Short welcomes new hosts for the quarter Jennifer Crane and Meral Arik. First, Steven Ng, the founder of nonprofit organization Global Ties, joins us in the studio to talk about his five steps for managing a student-run business. Then, with brooms in their hands and Harry Potter in their hearts, Quidditch team members Ryan Donahue and Brennan Ross talk about the trying out process for UCLA’s Quidditch team. Afterward, fourth-year graduate student Dallas King and his producer Gerren Crochet talk about the film progression of “Hozon,” one of UCLA’s first feature-length thesis films to be approved by the School of Theater, Film and Television.

Correction: “Hozon” is not the first feature-length film to be approved as a thesis project by the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
