The Crisis in Syria
Panelists discuss topics related to the current crisis in Syria. Speakers include UCLA political science professor Dan Treisman and Dalia Dassa Kaye, Director of the Center for Middle East Public Policy at the RAND Corporation.

Celebrating the Life of Vaclav Havel
The Charles E. Young Research Library will host the opening reception for an exhibit on the Czech cultural icon.

“Dusty’s Trail” for Disability Week
“Dusty’s Trail,” a movie about people climbing a mountain to raise awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, will be screened by ORL and Bruin Allies for Duchenne in honor of Disability Week .
De Neve Auditorium
6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Champagne for Gypsies
Balkans-based band Weddings and Funerals join Goran Bregovic to perform gypsy music. Tickets are $30 to $75, but $15 for UCLA students.

When You Wish
A new musical on the life of Walt Disney. Shows will continue through Nov. 3. Tickets are available from the Central Ticket Office.

EUropean Jazz Festival
EUropean Jazz @ UCLA kicks off a four-day festival showcasing Europe’s top jazz musicians. The event is free and open to the public.
