In the DC Comics’ Batgirl series, Dr. Andrea Letamendi is Batgirl’s personal therapist. In reality, Dr. Andrea Letamendi’s life is not that different. Self-proclaimed nerd Dr. Letamendi is a UCLA clinical psychologist who specializes in superhero psychology. She merges her passions for both psychology and comic book characters as a creative consultant, comic convention speaker and avid blogger.
