UCLA baseball is headed to its third College World Series in four years.

In an up-and-down year for the Bruins, they managed to hold it down against one of their biggest rivals and the No. 5 team in the country, the Cal State Fullerton Titans, in Fullerton and make their way to college baseball’s biggest stage.

After a hard-fought win on the first night of the Super Regionals, UCLA only needed its three first-inning runs to upset the resident national seed, as junior starter Nick Vander Tuig and a set of ever-reliable relievers shut out Fullerton en route to a 3-0 win.

The College World Series starts next weekend in Omaha, Neb.
