Listen: UCLA students explore art therapy to benefit emotional health

The creative process is hard to define, but its effects are numerous. It can help maintain emotional health and give people a fresh outlook on life and a clearer understanding of oneself. Art therapy uses the creative process and applies it in a therapeutic setting. Art therapy is gaining ground as a discipline and a presence on UCLA’s campus, and there is a Fiat Lux being offered on a similar subject this quarter.
