Professor King-Kok Cheung from the UCLA Asian American and English department spoke to Long Story Short host Davey Kim about Lunar New Year, known more popularly in the United States as Chinese New Year, which fell on February 10 this year. She discusses the history, science, and cultural festivities behind the largest holiday in the eastern hemisphere.
