Vocal performance and theater students debate Les Misérables

In 1987, the Broadway musical Les Miserables garnered eight Tony awards. 25 years later, the film version of Les Miserables has been nominated for eight academy awards, including best picture. Nerris Nassiri, a second-year undeclared student who has worked on and acted in several musical productions with the Hooligan Theater Company, and Sara Saturnino, a first-year vocal performance major, debate whether or not Les Miserables was a theatrical success in terms of both singing and acting.
