Building a future at UCLA's machine shop

Hidden in an isolated alley between Boelter Hall and Engineering IV, UCLA’s Machine Shop is the destination for students looking to expand their knowledge about industrial machinery. Michael O’Leary, the shop supervisor, QSi Tran, a second year aerospace engineering student, and James Griswold, a third year mechanical engineering student, talk about the goals of the shop, how it helps students learn and create, and the projects they’re working on this year.
