Magnitude 4.4 earthquake shakes Southern California

Parts of Southern California were jolted by a 4.4 magnitude earthquake Tuesday night.
The quake hit Yorba Linda in Orange County – about 50 miles southeast of the UCLA campus – at 11:23 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremors were felt from Long Beach to Santa Monica, as well as in downtown L.A.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported no injuries or serious damage.
