Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi endorses her new soda at Westwood's Rocket Fizz

On Wednesday night, Broxton Avenue was a little more busy than usual. Visitors expecting a typical weeknight dinner at Ami Sushi, Barney’s Beanery, Five Guys or any of the surrounding eateries were joined by a sea of people, both young and old, lined up outside of Rocket Fizz for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s appearance to promote her new Wild Cherry Soda.

The event attracted fans of all ages, ranging from Belieber preteen girls to middle-aged adults looking to possibly party with Polizzi at Brewco after the signing. The line of fans spanned from Rocket Fizz all the way to Barney’s Beanery, another potential place for fans to possibly grab a drink with Polizzi, or maybe not.

The mom-to-be, who sported a black fitted dress around her baby bump, sparkling gold heels and large wooden hoop earrings, was accompanied by her father and bodyguard. The actress spent time taking photos and signing autographs for fans.

Polizzi’s new product will add to her endless list of endorsed items, which include slippers, tanning lotion, perfume and her recently released iPhone application, “Snooki Bling Bling.” The beverage, which by its looks may be perceived as another diabetes inducing drink, is surprisingly not too over-the-top sweet or boring, but provides a good balance between a soda and a lightly sweetened carbonated fruit juice.

According to Rob Powells, co-founder and Rocket Fizz franchise owner, a majority of the drinks sold at Rocket Fizz stores, including Snooki’s Wild Cherry Soda, are bottled at the Rocket Fizz bottling plant in Northern California.

“Not only do we sell the sodas. We literally bottle it,” Powells said. “There are seven bottlers in America that bottle Arrowhead Water. We’re one of them. All of our Rocket Fizz drinks are made with pure water and real cane sugar. It’s kind of an oxymoron. It’s not a healthy soda, it’s a healthier one.”
