Fans were met at the gates with bobbleheads of Karros, the Dodgers’ all-time leader in home runs with 270. The former first baseman was also honored before the game with a video tribute and Karros’ sons, Jared and Kyle, threw out the first pitch before the game.

Karros talked about a number of topics regarding UCLA baseball, including the success of the program under coach John Savage, Trevor Bauer’s MLB debut and the success of recent walk-ons such as rising sophomore David Berg.
