Six Occupy UCLA protesters spent Thursday night in Wilson Plaza without disturbance.
No arrests were made, though UCPD officials have cited a campus policy banning temporary structures when acknowledging past encampments.
UCLA officials are continuing to monitor the situation, said UCLA spokesman Steve Ritea.
By late Friday morning, one tent remained.
Rachel Sanoff, a third-year English student and Occupy UCLA participant, sat near the tent, waiting for other Occupy members to return from class to help clean up the area.
Occupy UCLA protestors had only planned to camp out in Wilson Plaza for one night, she said.
“We are respecting the fact that other organizations need to use this space, but we planned to leave anyway,” she added.
Protesters said they plan to drive up to Sacramento this weekend for a march at the Capitol on Monday.
