Speaks Out: Favorite Class

This week the Daily Bruin asked students what their favorite class of the quarter was.

“My favorite class is Chicano Studies 10B with professor Hernandez. I like the concepts we’re learning about, such as immigration and racial superiority and other interesting topics.”

“My favorite class is called Partition by professor Vinay Lal. It’s a history seminar, and it’s interesting because the partition in India rarely gets the attention it deserves.”

“I think Physics 1A is the most interesting. I’ve always liked physics best, and the professor talks about real life applications. He does demonstrations with bowling balls and other things.”

“My favorite class is World Arts and Cultures 20. It’s pretty much studying where cultures started, beginning with colonialism and making our way toward modernism and focusing on the difficulties in between.”

“My favorite class is Classics M153B, Mycenaean Art and Archaeology. The professor is a lively and informative lecturer, and she gives a nuanced perspective on different pieces of art. She makes things from the past seem interesting.”
