I hope it brings attention to the issues … of states and borders. I don’t think there are two sides to the issue; there are many sides to the issue. So I hope it could lead the way to a more complex dialogue.

I actually agree with what they’re doing. We get to hear a different voice than the one we hear in the media. Israel has committed … human rights violations, according to the U.N. … And the U.S. is Israel’s biggest ally.

I’m pretty sure a lot of people don’t know a lot about the subject. So it’s always good to know what’s going on even if it’s not directly related to us. Before, I thought it was just an ethnic conflict, but it’s definitely more than that. There’s definitely a land issue, a military issue, a religious issue and so on.

At this current time, at this moment, more attention should be put on the democratic uprisings that are going on in the Middle East. I feel like that is a more pressing issue. But in general, it’s good to have intelligent dialogue on the Israel-Palestine situation because it’s extremely important for politics around the world.
