UCLA, Pepperdine to host Bruin Wave Invitational

The No. 1 UCLA women’s golf team will co-host the inaugural Bruin Wave Invitational with No. 9 Pepperdine this week at the Valley Course of the Robinson Ranch Golf Club this week.
Sophomore Stephanie Kono returns to the lineup after sitting out the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge because of a minor injury last month. The Bruins finished in a tie for fourth in that tournament.
Joining Kono in the lineup are junior Glory Yang, senior Sydnee Michaels, sophomore Brianna Do and freshman Tiffany Lua.
The tournament’s field features five of the nation’s top 10 teams and seven of the country’s top 25 squads, including No. 3 Arizona State, No. 6 USC, No. 8 Arizona and No. 13 Stanford.
