Football team seeks new recruits on campus in annual open tryouts

The football team is holding open tryouts for the upcoming school year, the athletic department announced today.
Students interested in trying out should go to the football offices on the second floor of the J.D. Morgan Center by Jan. 27 to pick up medical forms.
The tryout will be Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. at Spaulding Field.
Two years ago, Washington State was so decimated by injuries and ineffectiveness at the quarterback position that they held a campus-wide tryout just for that spot.
This year’s tryouts at UCLA, however, are part of the Bruins’ annual search for on-campus talent.
