A brush fire in the Sepulveda Pass broke out at about 1 p.m. today, causing traffic delays on the 405 Freeway.

The fire resulted in evacuations at both the Getty Center and nearby Mount St. Mary’s College. However, UCLA is not affected by the fire, according to a university statement.

Fire officials have estimated that about 80 acres of brush have been burned by the blaze, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was not available for comment.
