The UCLA football team will hold open tryouts on Monday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. at Spaulding Field, the UCLA Athletic Department has announced.

All students are welcome and encouraged to try out for an opportunity to become a walk-on next season.

A meeting for interested students will be held Thursday, Jan. 29 at 3 p.m. in the Bud Knapp Football Center.

Students must pick up paperwork from the football suite and must bring the completed form to the meeting.

Most likely, graduate assistants and the strength and conditioning coaches will oversee the tryouts, UCLA Director of Football Operations Darren Witcher said.

Witcher said a decision on the results should come shortly after as the Bruins start spring practice

April 2.
