After a two-week long trial, the Student Judicial Board ruled in favor of the undergraduate student government Facilities Commissioner Galen Roth on charges brought against her.

Following the decision on Monday, the board declined to comment about specifics such as if Roth acted in bad faith or if the Office Space Allocation Committee guideline changes she made were legal.

However, Roth is unlikely to lose her position because the decision was made in her favor.

The formal opinion will be published within two weeks, said acting Chief Justice Irene Nguyen.

“Upon looking at the evidence and testimonies presented to us and the guiding documents, it was not enough evidence to rule in favor of the petitioners (Boris Lipkin and Addison Huddy),” Nguyen said.

The decision was made by Nguyen and Justices Michael Kelso, Brittani Yriarte and Amir Goodarzi.
